Hi, I’m Rachel Fair, your licensed local guide behind Signature Charleston. I live in Mount Pleasant with my family, and when I’m not walking through downtown Charleston, you’ll likely find me at the beach, near the marsh, taking photos, or planning a trip. I love traveling but Charleston is the place that has truly stolen my heart.
As a licensed Charleston tour guide and former teacher, I love bringing the city’s history, architecture, and local stories to life in a way that feels welcoming and easy to connect with. My approach to Charleston walking tours is relaxed, personal, and unhurried—rooted in local knowledge and genuine love for this city. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to explore more deeply, my goal is simple: to help you experience Charleston like a local and leave with stories you’ll remember long after the walk ends.
